Library Board

The Library Board is a group of volunteers that govern the library. The Library Board is the legal authority of the library and is the ultimate authority for decision-making. The board’s role is oversight and monitoring of the library’s performance, while the library CEO is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and the people that perform these operations. It is the responsibility of the Library Board to understand the long-term needs of the library, to define the library’s purpose and direction, and to advocate on behalf of the library to the outside community.

The Library Board meets 10 times a year to discuss library matters. Library Board meetings are open to the public. They take place on the last Tuesday of the month at 5pm, at the Cardinal library.

Please contact the library if you wish to obtain the contact information for Library Board members.
